District Level RFPs

Project 1: Teaching and Leading Investment Fund: Goal is to improve teacher and principal skills and abilities to implement personalized learning environments in the Consortium’s high-need schools. The emphasis of this fund is on scalable, high impact improvements in math, science and ELL instruction as well as teacher/principal leadership. For complete information on Project 1, click here.

Project 3B: Investment Fund for PreK-3rd Grade Strategies and Systems at the District/Community Level: This project supports the establishment of a strong region-wide PreK-3rd Grade system to ensure students are kindergarten ready and led by the Puget Sound ESD. Project 8: College and Career Readiness Investment Fund: This project will create an investment fund that districts may access to strengthen course rigor and increase the variety of college and career ready courses available to better prepare their students for college and career. Through the investment fund districts can access funds for one-time course development. Examples may include training teachers to offer more AP courses, providing an IB program, expanding high-quality career certificate programs, dual language programs, or development of applied STEM learning opportunities. Deep Dive 3: Investment Fund to Develop Additional Site-Based Community-School Partnerships: This project creates a fund that aims to raise student achievement by allowing additional models of community-school partnerships of regional significance. Request for Qualifications (RFQ) – Concept Development and Grant-Writing: Puget Sound Educational Service District is soliciting responses to the attached Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified individuals or organizations to provide to provide support with concept development and grant-writing for the Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD), Road Map Race to the Top-District (RTTT-D) Consortium Members, and community partners, in order to support applications for upcoming King County Best Starts for Kids grants.  Please see RFQ 5800-13 and Amendment 1 for details.

Project 2: Develop Common Regional Data Portal and Data Sharing Agreements: RFQ 5800-08 (Close date 10/28/14) The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit competitive, infomal quotes from qualified individuals or organizations to provide business analysis and software development services for creating integrations between various academic and business data systems at Puget Sound ESD and Road Map Race to the Top-District (RTTT-D) Consortium Members. Such systems and associated integrations are in support of Project 2 (P2) of the Road Map Region’s Race to the Top grant for the RTTT-D Consortium Members which include Auburn, Federal Way, Highline, Kent, Renton, Seattle and Tukwila school districts. Project 2: Develop Common Regional Data Portal and Data Sharing Agreements: RFQ 5800-09 (Close date 11/12/14) The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit competitive quotes from qualified individuals or organizations to provide project management, technical assistance and support for data and data portal projects for the Puget Sound ESD and Road Map Race to the Top-District (RTTT-D) Consortium Members. Project 4: Expand the Effective Use of Digital STEM Tools: This project invests in adaptive digital tools to personalize STEM learning for high-need K-8 schools in the region, prioritizing math and science instruction. For more information on Project 4, click here.

Project 5: Create a Regional System for Career Awareness and Exploration: This project invests in digital career exploration tools and creates a region-wide system for linking students and career exploration opportunities. For more information on Project 5, click here.

Project 5: Create a Regional System for Career Awareness and Exploration: RFQ 5800-02 (Close date 9/17/13) The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit competitive, infomal quotes from qualified organizations to develop a Field Guide that will serve as a guide for the development of a regional system that supports 3rd grade through 12th grade students as they develop their awareness of the various careers available to them and explore those careers through work-based experiences.  This regional system, as outlined in the Project 5 narrative, is one component of the Race to the Top grant that was recently awarded to the Road Map consortium school districts. Project 6: Create an Integrated System of Middle and High School Advising: This Project will increase college and career readiness by strengthening the region’s counseling and advising system in the region’s high-need high schools and feeder middle schools. Project PE: Program Evaluation

Deep Dive 3: Investment Fund to Develop Additional Community-School Partnerships: RFQ 5800-07 (Close date 10/21/14) The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit competitive, infomal quotes from qualified individuals or organizations to provide technical assistance to the Race to the Top-District (RTTT-D) Consortium Member school districts and community-based organizations in developing authentic partnerships to achieve student outcomes.  Such partnerships are in support of the Deep Dive 3 project of the Road Map Region’s Race to the Top grant for the RTTT-D Consortium Members which include Auburn, Federal Way, Highline, Kent, Renton, Seattle and Tukwila school districts.
